3 Tips on purchasing Cuban Cigars

By: Trevor Wallace

The best cigars in the world come from Cuba, also known as Cuban Cigars. If you set out to buy real Cubans on the internet, I'm afraid knowing that isn't enough. Since their are so many vultures on the internet selling fake Cuban cigars, I would like to share three things that you must be aware of before purchasing a Cuban Cigar off the internet. As buying from a fake online retailer may not only cause you the pain of smoking fake Cubans, but you can also be a victim of identity theft. If you've never smoked real Cuban Cigars, than this should be a must read for your. After all, you don't want to share fake Cuban cigars with someone who has smoke real Cubans before. They can spot the difference as soon as the Cigars are lit.

See you have to be very careful when dealing with these 'snake oil' sales websites on the internet promising you dirt cheap Cuban cigars for a few hundred bucks. If you find a deal that is less than 500, you are about to be had! They will ship you Dominican cigars and if this is your first time, you'll probably be really happy. However, if you ever smoke that in front of a real Cuban cigar smoker, you just might loose their company. Allow me to share the three laws that you must apply to a website when buying Cuban cigars on the internet. Trust me, you will thank me later.

When it comes to websites selling Cuban cigars, don't judge the book by its cover, or you'll get burned. What I mean is just because the website looks good, doesn't mean its valid. Evil is hiding behind the good looks! This brings me to my second point and that is make sure the Cuban cigar online retailer is authorized by Habanos. Habanos is a little place in Cuba and the only place in the world which is blessed by the most perfect environment in the world to grow the world's sweetest tobacco, the Cuban tobacco. So if your Cuban cigar fancy website isn't selling stuff imported from Habanos, they are faker than Oprah Winfrey's diet.

If the first two points that I just made check out, ask them how long have they been shipping for? Especially to the United States. You see the USA, thanks to the embargo set my President Kennedy, is the only developed country that has a ban on Cuban cigars. Sad but true. So if you get caught with Cubans in your mouth in the United States, you my friend have to pay a fine of up to $50,000.00. Plus depending on the state you are in, you might end up going to jail. So ask the Cuban cigar online retailer do they ship to the United States and if they do, how long have they been doing it for?

If you follow the three laws of buying a cigar on the internet, you should be fine. Please do your research on the organization you are going to be dealing with as it can be a rewarding experience in the end or a very deadly one. Research definitely pays when buying Cuban Cigars on the internet. Good Luck!
