3 Tips to choosing a profitable Network Marketing Opportunity

By: Luke Liste

Many people do not understand the concept behind Multi Level Marketing, and instantly write it off. The reason is there are a lot of dodgy companies, that give it a bad name, so there a few things you should first understand before jumping into a new business venture.

However this business model is perfect for anybody who has a desire to run thier own home business, and have some sort of people skills. There are no skills required, so long as you are willing to put the work in, treat it like any other genuine business, and can handle dealing with people.

The first thing you should understand is the difference between Multi Level Marketing, and Pyramid selling.

Make sure you fully comprehend this part, so you can tell the difference.

An MLM company supplies a product or service through a network of distributors, the distributors then make money from a percentage of the products they sell, as well as from the products people they sign up sell.

Now Pyramiding, instead of providing commisions on products they sell, pays distributors on each new person they sign up. You have to comprehend this, for the sole reason, that this process is actually illegal in a lot of countries.

The next thing to consider is the companies age.

The average life span of any new Network Marketing Business is only about 7 months, so you don't want in too early. They might try to convince you other wise, by telling you to get in before every one else finds out, but this is desprerate marketing.

You want a well established company, with a trusted product. If the product is good, you don't have to worry about getting in to late, because there will always be an expanding market. You don't want to put your time and money into a short lived venture, the older the company the more successful it must be.

The next thing to consider when choosing a network marketing opportunity is, do they provide training. Any product driven company, should provide their distributors with training and resources to help them move the product.

They should however never use pressure to make sales, a distributor should be able to expand their business at whatever speed they like, and not feel pressured by the company. Although being product driven, they must make sales, so any good company will provide higher commisions and rewards for distributors that make higher levels of sales.

I mean it makes sense for the company to reward those that increase the companies bottom line.

And that's the basics to choosing a profitable Network Marketing Opportunity. You don't need marketing experience, if you choose the right company, just a desire to succeed and good people skills.
