5 Ways to Make a Coffee Date Sexy

By: Dan Trump

It's been so played out, you might think, the coffee date. A lot of women are, in fact, sick to death of them, but it doesn't have to be this way. Coffee dates can be intimate, interesting, and downright sexy if done right. Here are some ways to spruce up your coffee date so you're more likely to get a second date, a kiss, or even a lay.

1) Don't sit across from her.

No matter what you do, avoid the position of you facing her over a square table. If there's a couch available, take it and sit next to her with your butts touching. If only tables are available, pull the chair around so you're as close to being next to her as possible. The general rule is you sit with her as an established couple would, not two people meeting for the first time. To make it even better, get your arm around her at some points.

2) Take her to a unique coffee shop.

First off, avoid the Green Empire. Starbucks is a great place to go on your way to work, but a huge vibe-killer for dates. They're just too common, and too commercialized. She's been in a Starbucks too many times for it to be a memorable experience.

Also, the cooler and more unique the coffee place, the more negotiating room you have to get the woman to meet you near your house. This is crucial to getting her home at the end of the date. If Starbucks is the only coffee place around, make sure you follow the next rule

4) Walk around after getting coffee.

I know what you're thinking, "I just planned Why are we moving so fast?" Subconsciously, a woman interprets being in three locations on a date with a man as having had three dates with him already. Taking her to different places, even in a short period of time, creates an accelerated rapport and deeper connection. Unless the coffee place has an extraordinary vibe, you should sit down for a bit, and then suggest you two get up and explore the neighborhood, maybe even towards your house.

5) Devise a special drink that's not on the menu.

This is a useful trick in making a memorable experience, and works especially well in a trendy coffee place. Go to the spot in advance, and ask what some favorites the barista has that are not on the menu. It'll probably be a mix of espresso, a few syrups, and soy. You can even create one from your imagination, but first make sure that it actually tastes good! Whenever you can order for the two of you, it creates the frame that you can lead as a man in her life.

The key behind all these tactics is a healthy mix of logistics and creativity. You want your date to be always stimulated, and within reasonable distance of your apartment or house. If you follow the above tips, you will have coffee dates that your date will both really enjoy and desire to repeat.
