Air Conditioning Applications

The extensive application of air conditioning is due to its cooling, ventilating and dehumidification characteristics in different areas. As such, for the aspects like humidity, air movement, air quality and controlled temperature air conditioning applications can be broadly categorized into two parts: Comfort applications and Process Applications.

Comfort Applications

Process Applications

Regardless of the interior heat and outside change of weather, process application intends to set conditions, not as per individual preferences. Following are some of the suchlike places.

- Hospital operation theatre rooms, clean rooms for the production integrated circuits and laboratories are all equipped with the air conditioning facility to have the fresh, dehumidified and cold air.

- Other than the cooling system for the sake of giving comforts to the passengers, air conditioning in the air craft basically maintains a slightly high and normal air pressure than low pressure outside the aircraft. In the high altitude it must be required.
Similar other areas do also need a quality air. Data processing centers, Textile factories, plants and farm growing areas, nuclear operation units, food cooking and processing areas and mines, etc. are some of those places which demand air conditioning so far the dehumidification and ventilation are concerned.
