Different Types of Warts

Skin infection that commonly worries you is warts. The humanpapilloma virus is the infecting medium that spreads this disease. Any poor chap can suffer from warts but children and teenagers are mostly attacked. The limbs are the major portion of the body that gets affected by this viral infection. Feet, fingers, hands and soles are common among the infected areas.

Warts are not of a single type. They can be of various kinds as per their shape, size and the position where they come up.

Most common type

You are mostly aware of common warts which trouble you every now and often. The size of these warts is tiny and the shape is dome-like. They form bumps and the surface is hard and rough. The color of these warts is gray with a tinge of brown. The appearance in somewhat like the cauliflower’s tip covered with black spots. Areas primarily affected are hands, fingers, elbow portions and knees.

Warts on foot

There is a special type of wart that will come up on your feet and soles. They are very disturbing because for some time you will feel yourself to be lame and handicapped. These are known as plantar warts. Neither will you be able to walk properly not do anything that involves the feet movement. The movement will make you feel that you are not walking on a plane ground rather you are being forced to move on pebbles. It is a stony path being followed by you when you suffer from plantar warts.

Flat warts also on face

Not only legs and hands you can have them also on your face. They are known as flat or juvenile warts and common among the kids. They can be of three different colors like pink, yellow and brow shades. The size is small somewhat like a pinhead and known as flat warts because the top surface is flat.

Leaving the face area the cluster of flat warts appears on the arms, hands and feet very prominently.

Dominant warts around mouth

Filiform wart is a typical wart that makes your face ugly. You will constantly feel irritation in your skin because the filiform warts mostly cover your sensitive parts. Corners of your mouth, circling the eyes, nose corners are the favorite den of this viral infection to make its niche. The shape is more or less like a finger and it comes in the brownish shade like flesh color.

Apart from these you can suffer from genital warts which are severely infectious in nature. They can be transmitted sexually and make hell of your condition until completely cured.
