With the unemployment rate raising at a fast rate, may people try to seek employment in stables industries. One such industry is in the nursing field, LPN employment is one such industry that has not been effected by the bad economy. Many Financial expects find it harder and harder to predict when the current economy will get better in fair of being wrong in their analysis. There are many variables that will effect the outcome, and it is better to sit and wait rather than give false predictions. LPN employment is still increasing and its continued growth seems quit promising. Many experts predict that a career in nursing is a good pick in hard economic times as well as a striving economy. A career in the financial industry was one thought to be quite stable, however nowadays these companies has lost money with the fall of the financial industry and many of them have been forced to let go of their employees. Take auto manufacturing. Who would have thought just a few years ago that this industry would be in the terrible shape it's in today? Years ago, getting hired by General Motors, Ford, or Chrysler was considered to be a golden ticket to a great life of high income, great benefits, and guaranteed job security. Well, times have changed, and no one could predict the immediate future being any better. And unfortunately many believe that even if times got better these industry will not be the same. With oil prices fluctuating, sales of new cars have went down tremendously. One thing to note is that a career in nursing has continued to grow. There is and increase in demand for LPN employment. A career in the LPN field is stable and secure and promises to be a good career pick for the future. Becoming and LPN may be easier than you think. It takes about one year of schooling and you then become a Licensed nurse. Most nursing homes and health companies are constantly looking for good nurses. This industry promises stability and job security.
