with your competitors.

How do I know this? By doing a study of amatuer golfer's over the past several months.

Golf has become much more popular with the younger generation the past two decades. You now see
individuals that are young and old on the golf course these days. "Relaxation" for many people is to
simply go hit a bucket of balls if they don't have time to play the course.

Golf, like any sport, requires the consistent use of certain muscles in your back, neck, legs and hips.
It's important that you try to stay fit by maintaining a good workout regimine. However, like some other
golfer's you may feel uncomfortable working out around other people, but there is something that can
be done to help you. Read this.

First Things First

You have to stretch your muscles well before you begin exercising. This is important so that you don't
risk hurting yourself. When stretching you should stretch as if you were swinging a club. Go all the way
through the swing until you're slightly uncomfortable and then hold it for a few seconds and relax and do
the other side, but no bouncing. Bouncing can cause injury. Do two repetitions of each stretch and then
reverse direction in order to achieve a full body benefit.

Stretching should last at least 10-15 minutes and you should have a "cool down" stretching session
after finishing your workout. This will keep you from being so sore Don't overdo it! If you hurt yourself
you're grounded and can't play. Keep at a steady pace that you're comfortable with. Only you know
what you can handle so keep your limitations in mind. Remember that the competition is at the golf
course, not in the gym.

You might consider scheduling coaching sessions. By hiring a trained professional, you'll be able to
get good golf workouts that you know will help you. Scheduling a mixture of different exercises will keep
you motivated and looking forward to your next session. After all, you really don't want to do the same
routine every, single day, do you?
