How To Attract And Maintain Business Contacts

By: Brian McCoy

Are you looking for a way to attract and maintain personal business contact relationships? How can you keep that personal touch in an impersonal business world?

There are ways to attract your customers while assuring them that you genuinely care about them and their future. Here are a few ways to keep that human touch in your marketing.

1) Personalize Your Capture Page

Your website is the #1 way that your prospects will come in contact with you. First impressions are vital to making your prospect feel a connection to you. A few ways that you can achieve that personal touch to your site is by developing a personally presented audio message, including your business story, and by adding pictures of yourself and your family.

2) Autoresponders

After your prospect enters their information on your website, your autoresponder goes to work for you. Personalize this process as much as possible. Because autoresponders have large memory capabilities, this is readily achieved. The messages that are being sent to your potential customers are constant reminders to them of how they view you. Mix it up a bit by using different forms of automation such as text, audio, or video. Different people will feel welcomed in by different forms of communication. In doing so, it is imperative that you make this process as personal as you can.

3) Invite Yours Prospects To Contact You

Display your contact information for people to contact you. Whether it's through email or phone, be available to your prospects. Autoresponders provide a fabulous service, but to have that personal touch with your prospects, they are going to need to be able to get ahold of you. Welcome and encourage prospects to converse with you. This is the truest form of personalization that you can offer. A synergy is created through conversation. People love to talk about themselves, so if you are able to figure out what it is they are looking for, you will have created a win-win situation for both of you.

Make sure that you are getting back to your prospects in a timely manner as well. If you find yourself pressed for time and unable to answer all of their questions at the same time, make sure that you are responding to them somehow. Whether it be through an assistant or an autoresponder while they wait for your response, some form of acknowledgment is needed.

These are some simple ways to add that human touch to your internet marketing business. Check yourself often to make sure that you are continually serving the needs of your prospects. People want to know that they are understood and cared about. If you strive to keep yourself "real", your business will prosper.
