How to Sound Rich to Your Date Without Bragging

By: Dan Trump

Every girl wants a rich guy. The obvious truth is that the more money you have, the more lavish dates, expensive gifts, and long term potential you can provide for her. There is no reason to sound less rich than you are. However, whatever your level of income, most guys go wrong by bragging about their money, or obviously trying to show off, and look quite lame. Here are some ways to make a woman know/think you are rich, without looking like you're trying to.

1) Don't tell her your job, but tell her the peripherals.

Even if she asks you, saying that you're a doctor or senior vice president can sound like you're bragging, especially if you use the formal title. Instead, talk about something else which relates to your profession. For example, instead of outright saying you're a surgeon, talk about some petty soap-opera drama between your nurses. Or say "I was at this amazing burger place downtown last night, when I got paged to go to work to finish a deal, at 11 PM!" Any business trip you had to take in Asia works too.

2) Don't spend a lot, but pay with big bills

When you head to the bar with a woman, use a $100 bill from a money clip (shiny and gold-like). This is not uncommon in bars, so don't sweat it. Your date can see a lot of cash being exchanged, even if the actual amount spent was ten bucks. She can't tell if that $100 was a drop in the bucket, or 65% of your monthly pay check. She'll lean towards the former.

3) Use your friend to talk your money up.

While you're not allowed to brag about your finances, your friend certainly can. When you go to the bathroom, have him mention to her that you just got a huge bonus, so you might take a vacation to Europe soon. He can also say, in your absence that you're teaching him how to make money in stocks or start his own internet business. Since you didn't say it, you look humble. And rich.

Eventually, your date may figure out that you've never been to Europe, or that your big bonus came from Taco Bell, so don't say anything that will get you caught later on. However, you can still flash that $100 bill, because that wasn't you lying, it was just something she interpreted as a sign of wealth. Also, your friend could be "over-excited" about your bonus or drunk, when he said those things, so you'll can be safe about that as well.

Remember that you need all facets of your dating life handled, and not just your display of wealth, so stay tuned for more. Wealth can help give you an edge over other guys in her life.
