Is Your Marriage Doomed? Is Divorce Inevitable?

By: Nannikin629

Do you wake up each morning and wonder what happened to your marriage? Do you wonder is there anything to do to save your marriage? Is saving Your marriage really what you want to do? Or are you going to become another statistic in the divorce rate?

When you first began your relationship with your spouse, you never think your relationship could end, you are filled with romance and the thrill of new love. Some jump right into marriage and others may remain dating or engaged for a period of time. But for some reason, as soon as the “I do’s” are said, things change.

Unfortunately, we get into a comfort level, we stop paying as much attention to our spouse as we did during our courtship, we go out more with our friends then with our partner and the relationship starts to separate and before you know it, you are going to a marriage counselor, wondering what happened.

I believe that every marriage deserves a fair chance, no matter what the current state is. No matter what either of you have done, or not done. Change is necessary to fix the broken parts of your marriage. So many people believe they must accept things the way they are or you have to end the marriage in divorce. But if you really want to commit to saving your marriage, even if you are the only one, you can do it.

Marriage counseling statistics are poor, according to my research studies, almost fifty percent of couples in marriage counseling end up in divorce. Only about ten to twenty percent end up with any significant help from the marriage counseling session.

But don’t get discourages, all is not lost. There is hope for your failing marriage. Wouldn’t you like to have this turn around to the marriage of your dreams? Communication is good, but it is not enough, as sometimes this only helps you fight more effectively.

You both need to give up on arguing, this just turns into a battle of opinions and neither of you are likely to change.

I have seen many marriages fail, including my own, and wondered what happened. But I found a wonderful book called Save The Marriage, written by Lee Baucom, a Ph.D., this book is loaded with lessons to make the necessary changes and turning a relationship doomed to become a divorce statistic to becoming a marriage of your dreams. To pick up a copy of this book or to get more information, Click Here. This book does not have a lot of fluff that only temporarily fixes marriages, this book showed secrets of how to save your marriage, no matter what the circumstances for the pending divorce may be. Hopefully you will enjoy reading this book as much as I have.

More and more studies are revealing the importance of a happy healthy marriage. Happily married people are healthier, well adjusted, more successful, and more wealthy than their unhappily married or single counterparts.

In this time of failing marriages, it is worth it to make a fulfilling relationship out of your marriage. You owe it to yourself to make the effort.
