Simply alter the wire at the picture's backside if you find that you have hung it higher or lower. This way you will not have to make another hole on the wall.

You will need to decide on the measurement with great care if you intend to hang more than one picture on the wall. You can begin by placing the pictures on the floors or by holding them. Take the measurement of the wall as well as the pictures. This will make sure that you do not run out of room. You should be very precise while measuring if you prefer all your pictures to be on the same level and spread out evenly like drywall taping. In such a situation, a laser level would be handy.
