Cauterization or the burning of the skin tags

The use of the electrical needles to burn the skin tags is also effective. Afterwards the skin tags are removed.

By cutting off the blood supply

The skin tags may be tied up by the thread; after a week or so, the whole skin tags are darkened and slowly dry out. Then those would be easily removed. The main purpose of this technique is to stop the blood supply to the skin tags. However, it is a monotonous process and if there are so many skin tags, the tied-up treatment would be problematic for the patient.

Some still find that the skin tags removal is safe and cost effective at home. For them, it is advisable to go and talk to the skin clinic just once before removing the skin tags by any removal solution.
