  • Hurtful Words--Pieces or Peace
    Words are powerful. Angry words can be just as damaging as weapons of mass destruction. Our words can tear a person down, or build up and encourage. Reckless words can rip others into pieces while encouraging words seek ways to create peace and restoration. Which will it be? Pieces or peace?
  • Out of the Darkness
    There are times in our lives when we feel alone, abandoned and scared. These dark places can enfulf us if we let them. It is important to stay connected to God, to others and begin to rework misbeliefs or distortions that keep us isolated and in the darkness. Using the illustration of little Jessica McClure 18 years ago, who was trapped in a dark narrow tunnel Ms. Rivers reminds us that we don't have to be alone in our pit of darkness.
  • Building a Vibrant Relationship
    Most people want to feel a safe, positive connection in their key relationships. Feeling safe, secure and cared for provides opportunites for each one to not only feel free to be vulnerable without fear of rejection, but to connect at a significant emotional, physical and even spiritual level. Building a vibrant relationship is achievable!
